12th International Meet at Vilagudín Reservoir

For the second year, Thinkfish was guest at the International Meet at Vilagudín Reservoir, where the most popular and best known journalists and media in Spain get together. At the Meet we had the opportunity to present the first pre-series of the Thinkfish Bold semi-automatic reel, and to take note of the extremely useful reports on the reel they gave us at the end.

The reel was tested over more than three days of reservoir angling with large fish (more than 4 kg on average). How the brake functioned was one of the most important aspects for us, since it was meant to live up to its theoretical design, drawing in large powerful fish smoothly and gradually so that even with fine tippets there were no breakage problems. The result of this brake test was very positive. Strength tests led to changes in the casing, since dealing with strong forces affected its performance.

Thinkfish is grateful for this opportunity to carry out the first pre-series testing of Bold with such a fine cross-section of the Spanish and international media and anglers.
